I have changed my light globes and tried to save water. I have insulated my house and feel like the kids most of time are happy to wear recycled clothes and cycle everywhere but the need for another type of action is pressing.

I went to a talk by Bill McKibben at Melbourne Uni and here was a respected writer telling us that the time for targets is not 2020 or 2050 but now. He talked about an accessible global message and activating communities to participate in motivating our leaders to set 350 as a target.

The school community embodies the future for my kids and is the community I care about.
