How to get involved
1. First Step: approach your school
Get agreement to participate. Your approach may be via the principal, the school council, the student representative body or another committee like a sustainability committee.
Show the clip it’s a fantastic communication tool!
2. Second step: register your action
Go to the main 350 site and note in the event description section that you are a school.
3. Third step: plan your action with the school
Present to the kids – they will have all the ideas you need!
You can advertise options in the school newsletter, run a small competition or involve a small group of parents or teachers.
4. Take action
Remember to take a photo! Invite your local politician along, have a sausage sizzle, have fun!
5. Upload your photo to the website
The photos will be used by the 350 movement to show our leaders that communities around the world want effective targets set in Copenhagen.
You can also send photos of your action to local media and have them published in your school newsletter to keep spreading the message.
